Arkansas Elite is a competitive cheer program offered at the Williams Center. We strive to produce both successful and competitive teams as well as a fun, safe, and organized learning environment for both cheerleaders and parents. Our Cheer Program for the 2009-2010 season consists of a nationally competitve youth cheer team and various cheer and cheer tumbling classes. Our competitive cheer program is led by Jenna Waselues and Jessica Winberry, both former Arkansas Razorback cheerleaders.
Youth
The Youth team consists of young girls ages eleven and under. They practice four hours a week and will begin to perform more advanced stunts as well as begin to use back handsprings in their competition routines. They will compete at three to four regional competitions and two to three national competitions in Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
The Williams Center also offers non-competitive Cheer/Pom classes for those students interested in becoming better cheerleaders, but do not want to compete or are not yet ready to compete..
